    Our Harvest Festival Service was held on
    Sunday 13th September

    The service was planned in conjunction with  
    Thorpe Floral Design Club who  arranged a
    Festival of Flowers on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th

    Congregation members donated produce

    which was distributed to

    St. Martin's Housing Trust for the Homeless in Norwich,
    and The Norwich Foodbank. 

    Also taking part in the service
    were members of our Music Makers Group.

     

    On Sunday 21st June at 10.30 am 

    Helm Players  led our Morning Worship

    Fruit and Crops are Gathered In. . .

    Today, 21 September 2014, we celebrated
    our Harvest Festival. The service was conducted
    by our minister Rev'd. Robert Roberts, who was
    assisted by members of
    The 2nd Thorpe St. Andrew Brownies.

    Produce was collected from the congregation
    by members of the Brownie Pack.

     

    It will be distributed to
    St. Martin's Housing Trust for the Homeless in Norwich,
    and The Norwich Foodbank. 

    Also taking part in the service
    were members of our Music Makers Group.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    On 31 August 

    we welcomed our new minister

    Rev'd Robert Roberts

    who will be leading our service on
    Sunday 7th Spetember
    at 10.30 am

     

     

     

    On Sunday 20 July we said farewell and asked God's Blessing on our Minister - Rev'd Nick Collison, Diane and family at his final service with us before moving to his new appointment in Kidderminster.

    by Diane - her talent will be greatly missed.
     

     

    On 31 August at 6.30 pm
    we welcome our new minister

    Rev'd Robert Llewellyn Roberts

    who is coming to us from Felicity, Ohio, U.S.A.
    The preacher at this service will be our new 
    Chair of the East Anglian District
    Rev'd. Julian Pursehouse

     Sunday 29 June the service was led by 'our' Brownie Pack:
    2nd Thorpe St. Andrew

                               

     

    Lucy was presented with the trophy for being the Church's 'Brownie of The Year'


     

     

    On Sunday 22 June, our service was led by
    Members of Helm Players

    assisted in the singing by The Music Makers

    Sunday 27th April 2014

    We were pleased to welcome members of the 
    Heartsease Under 10s and under 12s Football Teams
    from The Norwich Christian League.

    Presentations were made to both these teams for the

    Fair Play & Good Conduct Award
    2013/4 Season.

    We congratulate these young footballers on these awards and thank their leader Nick and his coaching team for their important work with these young people.

    to our Mothering Sunday Service

     

                                 

     

    Our 60th Church Anniversary

    was celebrated on

    Sunday 23rd March 2014

    10.30 am

    following the service we enjoyed a buffet lunch together

    The produce was collected from congregation members by 2nd Thorpe St Andrew Brownies together with The Heartsease Under 10s/11s &12s Christian League Football Teams who also displayed their recent trophies

    The younger generation also displayed appropriate slogans - as shown below:

    Meanwhile some younger brothers and sisters were kept busy by one of our High School girls

    Finally - and by no means least, our Music Makers added to our worship by singing an Easter Anthem

    On the afternoon of Sunday 2nd June, the 2nd Thorpe St. Andrew Brownies together with some of our Church Family Members enjoyed a 'Street Party' celebrating the
    60th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II

                                                 On Easter Morning the bare cross was brought to life
                                                       with flowers brought by congregation members

                                       handmade by a member of our congregation now living in Bristol

                                          joined with the ENYP  'Dance Off' members to present

                            Christmas Spectacular 2011    

              planned and co-ordinated by some of our Church Members
